Multi Day Yak & Trek
Active travelers looking to take advantage of the multitude of hiking trails and paddling routes in the Kachemak Bay area will find that our multi day package is an excellent value. Our base camp is centrally located, putting your cabin within striking distance to a wide variety of routes that are suitable to diverse abilities. Link up world class water trails with world class hiking trails.

The Multi Day Trip is a two night three day camp stay over that caters to small parties looking for an unusual adventure in an intimate setting in the great Alaskan outdoors. For parties of three or more we will limit the trip to your group exclusively. Sea kayaking experience is not necessary, however participants should be reasonably fit and have a good range of mobility.

Yak & Trek Basecamp
Our facility has a pleasant comfortable camp ambiance with charming cabins that include clean linens, cooking facilities, wood stoves and wide open sea views. It is a lovely setting, so you will certainly will want to factor in some relaxing time in camp. Enjoy the enchantment of camping without the discomforts. It is camping without the camping.

We provide all the kayaking equipment, guide service, cabins, water taxi, including any additional water taxi besides that over to our base. We conduct a group barbecue each evening. If you were to complete all of what we can offer you to do on this trip from a hotel in Homer, you would incur a higher cost and miss out on the magical evenings on the south side of Kachemak Bay.
